Audit SaaS Code, Optimize Dashboard
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Our SaaS platform is already live, but I want a seasoned React / Next.js and Node.js developer to give it a rigorous technical once-over so we can scale with confidence. The immediate focus is a full codebase and architectural review, making sure every module is clean, maintainable, and truly production-ready.
Performance is the headline goal. Please profile and tune the areas that matter most to us: dashboard load time, API response time, and the heavier database queries that power our charts. I expect concrete, measurable gains—think quicker Time to First Byte, lower p95 latencies, and smoother UI interactions—without sacrificing code clarity.
While you are in the weeds, scrutinise the onboarding flow that starts with a user’s API token and ends with an activated account. Any edge-case bugs, race conditions, or sub-optimal error handling here need to be surfaced and fixed.
We also rely on several external SaaS and platform APIs secured by token-based authentication and webhooks. I need your expert eye on those integrations: rate-limit safety, graceful retries, and resilient fallbacks if a third-party service hiccups.
Deliverables
• Written audit report highlighting architectural concerns, bottlenecks, and recommended refactors
• Pull requests (well-commented) that implement the agreed performance fixes and code clean-ups
• Verification checklist showing faster dashboard metrics and improved API/database timings
• Final review of user onboarding and third-party integrations with pass/fail notes
