Pattern Prediction Model Development
Budget: $20 – $30 SGD
I need expert help to build 2 different classes of pattern models using i) neural networks and ii) boosted trees. The models will be used for estimating the probability of a value being higher or lower at multiple future periods of time.
Data:
- Data will be provided through an AWS based RDS. SQL access to the data will be given
- Data is high-frequency values with thousands of historic observations as well as across dozens of categories. Using the history and other categories of data should be a priority as well as adaptations to the data (historic moving averages etc)
- It will be important to split the data into training and testing. Some data will be reserved by us for complete out-of-sample testing.
Key requirements:
- Develop and train neural network and decision tree models.
- This data is a proof of concept - it is expected that quick results on what works and what doesn't will be the main outcome.
- At a later date, there may be a requirement to optimise the models for accuracy and performance.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong background in machine learning and pattern recognition.
- Proficiency in handling numerical data.
- Experience with model optimisation and deployment.
