Wireless Network Security Audit
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
Our organisation has completed most of its internal security checks, but our wireless segment still needs a thorough, independent audit. I’m looking for an ethical hacker who can focus exclusively on the Wi-Fi side of our network infrastructure and provide a clear, actionable report on any weaknesses you uncover.
Scope
• Assess all corporate SSIDs, guest networks, and any rogue access points in range.
• Attempt realistic, permission-based attacks (e.g., handshake capture, WPA/WPA2 cracking, Evil Twin, man-in-the-middle) using industry-standard toolsets such as Kali Linux, Aircrack-ng, or equivalent.
• Verify configuration of existing wireless controllers, access points, and related VLAN or radius policies.
• Document findings, risk levels, and concrete remediation steps.
Deliverables
1. Executive-level summary (PDF) highlighting critical issues.
2. Technical report detailing methodology, PoC screenshots or packet captures, and CVSS-style severity ratings.
3. A walk-through session (live or recorded) so our in-house team can reproduce and validate your results.
Acceptance criteria
• All vulnerabilities are reproducible during the hand-over session.
• Recommendations map directly to each finding and include references to best practice (e.g., NIST, CIS).
• No disruption to production services during testing; you’ll coordinate test windows with us in advance.
