I’m ready to take our new web platform live, but before opening the doors to real-world traffic I need a seasoned hand to probe the network layer, test the web stack, and lock everything down. Your core focus will be network security; I want actionable insights rather than a generic checklist.
Here’s what I’m expecting:
• Initial discovery call so you understand the architecture and current controls
• Comprehensive vulnerability and penetration testing across the web front-end, APIs, and underlying network (think Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Wireshark, or comparable tools)
• Clear, prioritized report detailing risks, proof-of-concept exploits, and suggested remediations
• A follow-up session to walk me through the findings and verify that the fixes we implement actually close the gaps
You’re free to use your preferred toolkit, provided the final deliverables are reproducible and well documented. If your background includes hardening cloud infrastructure, configuring firewalls, or setting up continuous security monitoring, let me know—those could become an additional phase once the initial audit is complete.
