Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Directions
You will be given a username, password, IP address, and link to a web server that will serve as
the web hacking assignment. When you access this web server, you will need to login with your
username and password.
Once you are in, you will see a list of 10 levels. Each level has a vulnerability that allows you to
steal a flag. Once you’ve broken the level, you can submit the password to the web server, so
that it can track that you have broken that level.
You will need to sharpen your web hacking tool belt. You will probably need to become familiar
with the following tools to understand the binaries that you want to break:
● Chrome Developer Tools
● Burp Proxy
Some important rules:
1. No automated tools. You should use your brain and your skills. The vulnerabilities cannot
be identified by automated tools.
2. No DOS or brute force attacks. None of the vulnerabilities require brute forcing, so don’t
do that, you could affect your fellow learners.
Each level is worth 10 points, for a total of 100 points.
