Urgent IT/OT Specialist Training
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a seasoned trainer who can quickly build and deliver an online-webinar series aimed at senior IT & OT infrastructure specialists. The audience works in large-scale manufacturing and shipyard environments, so the content has to balance traditional plant-floor concerns with modern enterprise demands.
Scope of the curriculum
• Network Security: defence-in-depth for converged IT/OT networks, segmentation between corporate and control zones, secure remote access for vendors, and incident response tailored to industrial settings.
• System Integration: connecting PLCs, SCADA, MES and ERP layers, protocol translation, data historians, and best practices for maintaining uptime during upgrades.
• Cloud Computing: hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures, Azure/AWS/GCP reference patterns for OT data, cybersecurity implications, and cost-optimised migration paths.
Delivery expectations
The training will run as live webinars that I can later repurpose as on-demand content. I need a full slide deck, speaker notes, lab demonstrations (recorded or live), and concise reference sheets I can hand to participants. Please allow for a short Q&A segment at the end of each module and provide any sample configurations or scripts you intend to showcase.
Timeline
I’d like to review your proposed agenda within a week and begin the first session shortly afterward. If you already have modular content that can be adapted to a manufacturing or shipyard context, let me know; otherwise, I’m happy to collaborate on tailoring new material.
Success criteria
I’ll consider the project complete when the live sessions run smoothly, the resources are handed over in editable form, and participant feedback confirms that the learning objectives on security, integration and cloud adoption were met.
OT Security Management
• Designs, implements and manages OT security solutions in compliance with NIST, IEC 62443, and IACS UR 26/27 guidelines
• Conducts security assessments and audits of OT environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies
• Develops and sets up OT security as a service offering, including defining service packages, pricing, and delivery models
• Customer engagement and provide expert technical consultation to clients on OT security best practices and strategies to enhance their security posture.
• Collaborates with other teams to provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities including presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development
• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.
Infrastructure Support
• Provides support for Windows servers and workstations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Deploys, manages, and troubleshoots virtual machines in environments such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots IT/OT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points
• Configures, manages, and monitors firewalls to ensure network security and compliance with company policies
• Responds to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, system settings, and procedures.
• Works closely with other IT team members and departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or IEC 62443 certification are a plus
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in OT security or network security, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, energy, or utilities
• In-depth knowledge of NIST, IEC 62443, and IACS UR 26/27 guidelines
• Experience with OT security technologies and solutions with hands-on experience managing OT security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning tools) in industrial environments
• Knowledge of risk management and compliance in OT environments
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
• Strong understanding of OT security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies and strong knowledge of firewall technologies and best practices
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and with Windows Server and Windows operating systems
• Hands-on experience with virtual machine environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
