Set Up D-Link Dynamic DNS
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need my home network to stay reachable under a single hostname, even when my ISP hands out a new public IP. The plan is to pair my D-Link router with a free No-IP account and confirm that updates happen automatically.
Here’s what has to happen:
• Walk me through creating a new No-IP account and completing the email confirmation.
• Register one hostname on that account (free tier is fine).
• Guide me, step by step, through the D-Link firmware pages so the router stores the No-IP username, password and hostname correctly. Written instructions are great—screen-share or chat guidance is even better.
• Force an IP renewal on the router and prove that the hostname now resolves to the fresh IP.
Once the host is updating reliably, the job is finished. I already have admin access to the router and can reboot or reset it on command, so this should be quick for someone who has linked D-Link gear with No-IP before.
