Scope of Work:
Create a Network Security Plan
Assess our environment and recommend best practices for SSO, VPN enforcement, and secure user access.
Implement Security Configuration on 5 Devices
3 Dell PCs (onsite in our Bangladesh office)
2 Dell laptops (remote workers in Bangladesh)
All devices must securely connect through our California-based VPN.
Specific Needs:
- Single Sign-On (SSO): Unified login across all company applications.
- User Role Management: Define departments/roles and set app-level permissions.
- 2-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enforced across all accounts.
- IP Restrictions: Limit access based on approved IPs and geolocations.
- Login Monitoring: Track login history and generate audit trails.
- User Provisioning: Add or remove users from one central system.
- Password Manager Setup:
Secure storage of credentials, 2FA codes, and license keys
Password sharing without revealing passwords
Role-based access to credentials
Audit logs of usage
- Web Access Control:
Restrict which websites staff can visit
Prevent unapproved software installs
Block internet/app access unless connected to VPN
Restrict which apps and tools staff can use
- Antivirus & Malware Protection: Ensure endpoints are protected and compliant.
Tech Stack & Access Requirements:
- Main applications we use include:
Zoho Suite (Mail, Cliq, Projects, Workdrive, CRM, People, Vault)
Google Drive, Docs, Sheets
QuickBooks Online
Microsoft Office (and Sharedrive access)
Third-party platforms: PayPal, Toast, Stripe, Clover, and others
Environment Details:
- Office Setup: 3 Dell PCs (Bangladesh office)
- Remote Setup: 2 Dell laptops (remote workers in Bangladesh)
- VPN Location: California (must enforce VPN-only access)
Ideal Freelancer:
- Experience in setting up small business IT security
- Familiarity with Zoho Vault, SSO providers, and VPN configurations
- Comfortable working across time zones
- Able to deliver written documentation of setup and policies
