Network Design and Configuration for Data Center

Project Overview:
I have a colocation setup in a data center with 2 Dell Rack Servers running Proxmox VE 9. I’m looking for an experienced Network Engineer to help design and implement a high-availability (HA) network plan and configure both LAN and public IP networks.

Current Setup:

2 × Dell Rack Servers (Proxmox VE 9 installed)
Data center colocation environment
1 × Router with SFP+ ports (available for network backbone)
Both public and private IP blocks available

What I Need:

Network design for HA cluster topology (redundancy, failover, and management considerations)
Proper network segmentation (LAN, WAN/Public, VM traffic, storage, etc.)
Configuration of Proxmox network bridges for both LAN and public interfaces
Recommendations and configuration of bonding, VLANs, and routing where applicable
Best practice guidance for security and performance
Documentation of the final design and setup steps

Nice to Have:

Experience with Proxmox VE clusters, Ceph storage, or high-availability environments
Knowledge of data center networking standards (BGP, VLAN tagging, MTU, etc.)
Familiarity with Dell server hardware networking (Broadcom/Intel NICs)

Deliverables:

Complete and documented network design plan
Working Proxmox cluster network setup (HA ready)
Verification of connectivity (LAN + Public IPs)
