FortiGate 80F DDNS Failover -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I run a FortiGate 80F with two uplinks:
• WAN2 – fiber, where DDNS already updates correctly
• WAN1 – a GSM-based STC SIM sitting behind a customized router that offers no DMZ or manual port-forwarding options.
The goal is simple: We need a reliable backup solution of DDNS is required on GSM router so that remote access to the FortiGate / internal network remains available when the fiber link goes down.
