Dahua IP Camera Web Integration

Job ID: 39743555

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need an experienced Dahua specialist to get my new DH-IPC-HDW1230T2-S5 up and streaming directly inside a browser. At the moment I cannot even reach its web interface, so the first priority is to regain access, set a stable IP and open the right ports. Once that is done I want a clean RTSP (and, if possible, HTTP/MJPEG) stream that I can embed in a Linux-based web application.

What I have and how I intend to use it
• Custom application runs on Linux.
• Camera can be cabled or placed on Wi-Fi; I may switch between the two so configuration needs to accommodate both.
• No current access to the camera’s built-in web UI.

What I need from you
1. Restore or enable web/ONVIF access so the camera is reachable on my LAN.
2. Configure RTSP, confirm stream works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
3. Provide clear guidance on user/password security, port forwarding and any codec settings that affect browser playback.
4. Walk me through the entire process via remote session or detailed step-by-step notes.
5. Leave me with a short document outlining every setting you touched so I can replicate the setup on future devices.

The job is complete when I can load the live feed in a standard browser tab, copy the stream URL into my own code base, and know exactly how to redo the configuration if the camera is ever reset.
