Cybersecurity Mentorship Program

I'm seeking a dedicated mentor to guide me into a professional cybersecurity career. The training must be structured, hands-on, and with clear, simple explanations.

I want to cover:
- Core concepts: networks, operating systems, security principles, authentication, logging
- Linux & command line for security work
- Python for security automation (parsing logs, simple scanners, file ops)
- Setting up a private practice lab (local VMs) and using common security tools in a legal, controlled environment
- Secure coding basics and common misconfigurations
- Intro to vulnerability management & basic incident response
- Guidance on certification pathways (Security+, SSCP, then advanced options later)

Requirements:
- 5 sessions per week (60mins) via screen-share
- Live exercises and setting weekly goals
- Provide small homework labs and review my work
- Everything must remain educational and within proper authorization (private lab only)

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge in cybersecurity principles and practices
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, and security tools
- Experience in teaching or mentoring, especially in technical subjects
- Patience and ability to explain complex concepts simply
