Cybersecurity Consultant for Goa Police
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I need a seasoned cybersecurity consultant, based in India, who can spend time on-site in Goa to design and deploy a network security solution for the Goa Police Department. The work centres on network security within a cloud-based environment, and the ultimate goal is to enhance overall network security across all police systems.
Scope of work
• Assess the current cloud architecture, identify vulnerabilities, and map critical assets.
• Design a practical, defence-in-depth network security architecture that covers segmentation, next-gen firewalls, VPN access control, IDS/IPS, and secure gateway policies.
• Configure and fine-tune the chosen security tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing cloud services.
• Draft security policies, standard operating procedures, and an incident response playbook tailored to police workflows.
• Train the internal IT team on daily operations, monitoring, and escalation procedures.
• Provide concise hand-over documentation plus a 30-day post-deployment support window.
Key expectations
– Proven experience hardening cloud-based networks for government or law-enforcement bodies.
– Ability to travel to Goa for assessment, deployment, and training milestones.
– Familiarity with SIEM platforms, zero-trust principles, and compliance standards relevant to Indian public-sector entities.
Deliverables will be accepted once the new controls meet agreed performance baselines, pass penetration testing, and align with Goa Police Department policy requirements.
