Cisco L3 VLAN, QoS, Multicast
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a Cisco Layer-3 switch with no current VLANs on it and I’m ready to bring it into production. I need four new VLANs created, each with the correct SVI, routing and trunk settings, followed by a clean QoS policy that gives priority to VoIP traffic across the entire switch fabric. In addition, multicast traffic must be enabled and tuned so video streams distribute efficiently without flooding the network.
You’ll be working directly in Cisco IOS via CLI (SSH/console access will be provided). I’d like the final running-config lines delivered in a text file as well as applied live during a screenshare so we can verify everything together.
Acceptance criteria:
• All four VLANs show up in show vlan brief and their SVIs pass a ping test between subnets.
• QoS trust and priority queues are confirmed with show policy-map interface, and a VoIP test call keeps MOS high under load.
• Multicast routing (PIM sparse-mode) and IGMP snooping work end-to-end, proven with a sample video stream and show ip mroute output.
If you’re comfortable with Cisco best practices for VLAN design, MQC QoS and multicast tuning, I’m ready to start right away.
