Cisco Networking Specialist Needed

Job ID: 40411878

Budget: $10 – $30 CAD

I’m looking for a seasoned Cisco professional who can step in, assess my current environment, and make sure everything runs smoothly and securely. The exact assignment will be shaped by your discovery process, but it will revolve around planning, configuring, and optimising Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls that support day-to-day operations.

Here’s how I see the engagement unfolding:
• Initial audit – you’ll review existing topology, firmware versions, and configuration files, then map out pain points and risks.
• Action plan – based on the audit, you’ll recommend the best course of action, whether that’s a fresh configuration, targeted troubleshooting, or a phased hardware upgrade.
• Execution – once we agree on the plan, you’ll implement the changes, keep downtime to a minimum, and validate everything with live testing.
• Handover – I’ll need a clean set of backups, annotated config files, and a brief operational guide so my in-house team can maintain your work.

Experience with Cisco IOS, Catalyst switches, ISR routers, ASA/FTD firewalls, and standard monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, or similar) is important. Familiarity with best-practice security hardening and VLAN design will also come into play.

If this sounds like a project you can own end to end—discovery through documentation—let’s talk timelines and milestones.
