Cisco Networking Assignment Support – Switching, Routing & Packet Tracer

I am looking for an experienced Cisco networking professional or instructor to support (guide, review, and validate) an academic assignment for a university module titled Network Switching and Routing.

This is NOT a copy-paste or ghostwriting job. I require conceptual guidance, structured explanations, and configuration review, ensuring the work meets academic and technical standards.
Scope of Work

Part A – Theory Support (Written)

You will help with:
• Explaining and structuring answers for:
• IPv4 classful vs classless addressing (CIDR, VLSM, RFC references)
• DHCP vs static IP addressing (pros/cons + scenario-based decisions)
• RIP v2 optimisation and routing update control
• OSPF shortest path algorithm
• Layer 2 loops and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
• Root bridge election and port roles (Root / Designated / Blocked)
• Ensuring answers are technically correct, well-structured, and academically sound
• Highlighting what examiners expect rather than writing the full answers


Part B – Practical Network Design (Packet Tracer)

You will assist with:
• Designing and validating a VLAN-based enterprise network
• Subnetting and IP addressing using 172.16.0.0/16
• VLANs (Admin, Sales, HR, Management)
• Trunking and router-on-a-stick inter-VLAN routing
• Security configurations:
• Port Security
• DHCP Snooping
• STP enhancements (PortFast, BPDU Guard)
• Reviewing Cisco Packet Tracer configuration
• Verifying outputs (show run, show ip route, show vlan brief, etc.)
• Advising on how to explain configurations clearly in a 5-minute narrated video

You do not need to record the video, only guide on what to show and explain.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of:
• Cisco Switching & Routing
• VLANs, Trunking, Inter-VLAN Routing
• STP, Port Security, DHCP Snooping
• RIP v2 and OSPF
• Cisco IOS commands
• Cisco Packet Tracer

Academic experience (teaching, tutoring, or assessment support) is a big plus.
