Job Title: Freelance Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
Location: Remote (India)
Engagement: Freelance / Contract | 10–20 hours per week

Datastride Analytics is a technology consulting company specializing in AI, Data Analytics, Cloud, and Digital Transformation. We are looking for a seasoned Fractional CISO to strengthen our cybersecurity posture through strategic leadership and hands-on implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
Lead implementation of security controls across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and endpoints.
Drive ISO 27001, SOC 2, DPDP, and other compliance initiatives.
Implement and manage IAM, MFA, PAM, SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Secure AWS, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Integrate security into DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct security risk assessments, architecture reviews, and vendor security evaluations.
Develop security policies, governance frameworks, and executive dashboards.
Advise leadership on cybersecurity risks and best practices.
Requirements
10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in a CISO or Information Security leadership role.
Proven experience implementing enterprise security programs and cloud security solutions.
Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls, and modern cybersecurity practices.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Qualys/Tenable, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are preferred.
