Bus Topology LAN Configuration

Job ID: 40549672

Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR

I need a new Local Area Network built around a classic bus topology. The segment will link our office computers, laptops, and a pair of on-premises servers plus their attached storage array. I already have the hardware on hand—coaxial cable, BNC connectors, a small workgroup router, and two managed switches acting as media converters—so your focus is on the logical design, physical layout guidance, and device configuration.

Key tasks include assigning an efficient IP addressing scheme, setting up DHCP and basic VLAN segmentation (for future growth), configuring the servers for file-sharing and backup traffic, and validating that every workstation can see both servers with low latency. I will also need concise documentation that explains the final layout, cable runs, and any CLI commands or GUI steps you applied, so a technician here can maintain the network without guesswork.

Deliverables
• Network diagram showing the complete bus topology
• Step-by-step configuration notes or script files
• Short test plan with ping/throughput results proving connectivity between all hosts

I will consider the job complete once the diagram, configuration notes, and successful test results are delivered and reviewed.
