Beginner Cybersecurity Hands-On Training
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m putting together an introductory cybersecurity programme aimed squarely at absolute beginners and I need a trainer who can keep things practical from the very first session. My priority is for students to get hands-on time with real-world tools rather than memorising theory, so every concept you teach should be backed by a live demonstration and a lab exercise.
The curriculum must revolve around three pillars—antivirus software, firewalls and network-monitoring tools. I expect you to walk learners through installing, configuring and troubleshooting each of those solutions in a safe sandboxed environment, explaining common pitfalls along the way and showing how the pieces fit together to form a basic security posture. If you like weaving in additional fundamentals or quick demos of other defences that naturally complement those pillars, that flexibility is welcome so long as it stays beginner-friendly.
To keep the course engaging, blend short explanations with screen-share walkthroughs, guided labs and a simple end-of-module challenge that proves the student can replicate what was shown. Please bring your own virtual lab images, sample malware or traffic captures, and step-by-step worksheets; my only requirement is that everything runs on widely available free or trial software so no learner hits a paywall.
Deliverables I’ll look for:
• A concise course outline broken into logical modules and lab activities
• Slide deck or visual aids for each module
• Pre-configured lab environment files or clear build instructions
• Instructor notes and answer keys for challenges
• A brief completion assessment with marking rubric
When you reply, let me know the tools and lab platform you’d prefer, how many hours you need for delivery, and any prerequisites I should share with the students ahead of time. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on the outline and schedule.
