Azure Security & Networking Audit Advisory
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I want an experienced Azure security consultant to review our existing setup and highlight practical ways we can harden it without over-engineering. My internal team understands Azure fundamentals but we don’t make large infrastructure changes very often, so clear explanations of risks and sensible trade-offs are essential.
Scope of the audit
• Network security – I need a deep dive into current firewall configurations, virtual network peering design, and how our Security Center / Sentinel logging is stitched together.
• Data protection – today we rely mainly on DLP policies; I’d like guidance on encryption at rest and in transit, key-management options, and any quick wins we’ve missed.
What I’m expecting from you
1. A concise report that maps out vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and blind spots discovered during the review.
2. A prioritized remediation plan that pairs each finding with its business impact and estimated effort.
3. Working sessions (screenshare or recorded walk-throughs) where you coach my engineers through the fixes and help us validate the changes in Azure.
You should be comfortable with Azure Firewall, NSGs, ASGs, vNet peering, Private Endpoints, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, and DLP best practices. Strong communication skills matter just as much as technical depth; every recommendation needs to be actionable and explained in plain language so my team can adopt it confidently.
If you’ve led similar audits and can demonstrate measurable security improvements, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this engagement and your estimated timeline for the initial findings.
