AWS Network Security & Integration

Project Overview
Seeking an experienced AWS/network engineer to design and implement a secure network architecture in AWS. This includes VPC creation, VPC peering, routing configuration, deployment of Cisco FTD and FMC, and adding authentication & network services (DHCP, RADIUS, Active Directory servers) within AWS. The solution must follow security best practices and be fully documented for operational handover.
Key Requirements
AWS VPC Setup:
Create primary and secondary VPCs with proper subnetting.
Implement VPC peering between two VPCs.
Configure custom routing tables for inter-VPC traffic, subnet segmentation, and security zones.
Cisco Security Appliance Deployment:
Install Cisco FTD (Firepower Threat Defense) in the primary VPC (using either AWS Marketplace AMI or custom image).
Deploy Cisco FMC (Firepower Management Center) in the same VPC for centralized management and policy deployment.
Integrate FTD with VPC network for traffic inspection between subnets and peered VPC.
Network Services:
Provision a lightweight DHCP server (Linux-based or Windows as per best practice) to assign IPs in a defined segment.
Set up a RADIUS server (prefer FreeRADIUS or Windows NPS) for network authentication testing.
Deploy an Active Directory (AD) server (Windows Server, includes setup and initial domain configuration).
Security & Documentation:
Incorporate AWS security groups/NACLs for least-privilege access.
Provide diagrams of network design/topology.
Deliver step-by-step deployment and operational documentation.
Deliverables
AWS resource templates (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred).
Fully operational AWS environment as per requirements.
Diagrams and documentation (Visio or equivalent).
Scripts or automation (if applicable).
Basic operational handoff.
