Video Controller Fiber Link

Job ID: 40137895

Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR

I’m building a dedicated fiber-optic link whose sole job is to carry 1 Gbps data between a video-controller head-end and its downstream equipment. The task is to translate that simple requirement into a clean, reliable network segment: pick the right cable type and length, match transceivers, specify patch-panel or direct termination, and lay out any media converters or SFP modules we may need.

The connection is point-to-point inside one facility, so latency is less of a concern than signal integrity and ease of future maintenance. I already have switch ports free; what I’m missing is the detailed bill of materials and an installation plan that guarantees the controller always sees a solid 1 Gbps link.

Deliverables I expect:
• A brief design diagram showing device-to-device connection
• Complete parts list with manufacturer part numbers
• Written installation / termination steps, including recommended test procedure (light-loss budget, OTDR or VFL checks)

If you can also guide my onsite technician during the fiber run—whether via video call or clear documentation—please mention that. Let me know the standards or tools (e.g., OM3 vs. OM4, LC-LC, duplex SFP) you prefer so we’re aligned before ordering hardware.
