Small Office VLAN Setup
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I run a small office network that combines a GL.iNet router with an Omada-controlled switch and access points. I’m looking for a specialist who can configure the VLAN settings so every device lands on the right segment without breaking existing connectivity.
Current environment
• GL.iNet router acting as the main gateway
• Omada controller managing switches and Wi-Fi
• Devices to isolate: computers & servers, printers & scanners, VoIP phones, an NVR, and several IP cameras
What I need from you
1. Plan an efficient VLAN structure that separates the above device groups while allowing the right cross-VLAN services (for example, printers accessible from PCs but not from cameras).
2. Apply the configuration on the GL.iNet router and push the proper profiles through the Omada controller.
3. Verify DHCP, routing, and firewall rules so each VLAN has the intended access and no more.
4. Provide a brief hand-off document outlining the VLAN map, key rules, and steps to add new devices later.
Experience with both Omada and GL.iNet firmware is essential. If you can hop on a remote session and complete the job with minimal downtime, let’s get started.
