Secure Banking Network Modernization
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m overhauling the entire network that underpins our bank so it can handle today’s digital-first customers and tomorrow’s growth without sacrificing security. The engagement covers end-to-end design, deployment, and fine-tuning of a high-performance enterprise infrastructure. My top priority is cybersecurity enhancement: every routing decision, every policy, every line of code must keep regulators and threat actors in mind.
Alongside that security focus, the architecture must be cloud-ready from day one. We are steadily moving core workloads to AWS and Azure, so the new backbone must integrate hybrid connectivity, SD-WAN, and zero-trust access without creating latency for real-time transactions or mobile banking rollouts that will follow.
I’m looking for someone who has done this at scale—preferably in the financial sector—and can walk me through comparable transformations they’ve led. Show me the problems you solved, the compliance hurdles you cleared (PCI-DSS, FFIEC, SOC 2, etc.), and the measurable performance gains you delivered.
Deliverables (all items are mandatory):
• High-level and low-level network design docs covering core, distribution, edge, and cloud on-ramps
• Security hardening plan: firewalls (Palo Alto or Cisco ASA/FTD), micro-segmentation, SIEM integration, SOC hand-off procedures
• Implementation playbooks and automation scripts (Ansible or Terraform preferred)
• Cut-over strategy with rollback options and success metrics
• Post-deployment optimization report with performance baselines, failover tests, and compliance evidence
