Scalable MPLS Network Setup

Job ID: 39915959

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I’m rolling out an MPLS backbone that will interconnect more than ten geographically dispersed sites and I need a rock-solid configuration that keeps growth simple. The chief goal is to build a design that scales smoothly as new branches and services come online, so choices around VRF layout, route-target strategy, and traffic engineering need to be future-proof.

You’ll review the current topology diagrams and hardware inventory (mostly Cisco ASR and ISR platforms with a few Juniper edge routers), then craft a detailed configuration plan. Once the design is agreed, I’ll want the full CLI configs, clear-text documentation, and a quick-reference run-book so my in-house team can replicate the approach on additional sites later. If you prefer automation, feel free to generate templates for Ansible or Nornir—just make sure they’re clearly commented.

Deliverables:
• High-level design document explaining protocols, redundancy model, and scaling logic
• Device-specific configurations tested in a lab or virtual environment
• Step-by-step implementation guide and rollback plan
• 30-minute knowledge-transfer call to walk through the setup

Routers are already licensed for MPLS, LDP, and BGP. I can provide lab access via VPN for validation. If you have proven experience designing multi-site MPLS networks for scalable growth, I’d like to see a brief note on similar projects when you place your bid.
