Router & Switch Setup Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We’ve just upgraded to Comcast Business fiber and I need help getting our edge router and downstream switches configured so the entire network comes online smoothly. The scope is intentionally lean for now—basic IP assignments and routing only.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Configure WAN and LAN interfaces on the router to match Comcast’s hand-off.
• Set up the necessary static or dynamic routing so traffic flows without loops.
• Apply a clear IP schema across two gigabit switches, confirm uplinks, and label ports.
• Verify end-to-end connectivity and provide a short text file summarizing the final settings.
No advanced firewall rules, QoS, or deep security tuning is required at this stage; we just need a stable baseline connection. I’ll supply device models, login credentials, and any current configs as soon as we start. Let me know your estimated hours and earliest availability—if this goes well, I’ll likely have follow-on work for more advanced features later.
