Rectory In-Wall Ethernet Install
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need to bring hard-wired internet to one or two rooms in our church rectory and want the cables hidden behind the plaster walls—no surface trunking or exposed staples. The run will start at the existing router closet and terminate in clean, flush-mount RJ-45 wall plates inside the target rooms.
Because the walls are solid plaster, you will need the right coring bits, fish tape, and experience patching small entry points so the finish remains tidy. I plan on using Cat-6 (or better) cable, so please supply and certify the line for gigabit speeds once everything is in place.
Deliverables
• In-wall cable run from router location to 1–2 rooms.
* Room where router exists is on the 3rd floor in storage room located on the North side of the building, must be threaded to 1st floor located on the south side of the building.
• Low-profile wall plates and properly crimped keystones
• All penetrations sealed and plaster touch-ups completed
• Test report or screenshot confirming full throughput on both ports
