Onsite Network Deployment Support
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need an experienced network engineer on the ground for a single-day engagement at my customer’s office. Your primary mission is to rack, stack, power up, and cable a set of routers, switches, and firewalls exactly as shown in the network diagrams I will hand over beforehand. Once everything is in place, you’ll open console sessions so my remote engineering team can complete their configuration work.
While you are onsite, I would also like you to handle any quick break-fix or imaging tasks that crop up on desktops, laptops, or printers—nothing complex, just the usual first-line troubleshooting to keep users productive.
Deliverables for the day
• Routers, switches, and firewalls physically mounted, patched, and powered on per the provided diagrams
• Verified console access to each device handed off to my remote engineers
• Any incidental user hardware issues resolved or clearly documented for follow-up
Plan to bring the basic hand tools you normally rely on for network installs (screwdrivers, cable testers, laptop for console access, etc.). I will supply the hardware, rack space, power, and the finalized diagrams.
If you’re comfortable working independently, communicating updates in real time, and wrapping everything up within a standard workday, I’d love to hear from you.
