One-Day Onsite Network Deployment -- 2
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
The site is scheduled for a single-day rollout in which brand-new routers, switches, and wireless access points will replace our current gear. All hardware will arrive pre-staged; your mission is to handle physical installation, complete configuration, and run verification tests so that by close of day every port, SSID, and uplink is passing traffic without errors.
What the day looks like
• Rack and cable the routers and switches, mount the access points, and label all connections.
• Load the provided configuration files, make any on-site tweaks we discuss, and save backups.
• Run connectivity, throughput, and fail-over tests, documenting results before handing over a brief summary report.
Success criteria
1. All devices power up with zero hardware alarms.
2. End-to-end ping, internet reachability, and wireless authentication succeed on both staff and guest networks.
3. A concise test/hand-over sheet is delivered before you leave the premises.
Bring the usual field toolkit—laptop with console cable, cable tester, punch-down, and basic hand tools. Access to the MDF/IDF is pre-arranged;The entire engagement must be wrapped up within business hours on the agreed date, so punctuality and efficient workflow are essential.
