Network Redesign & Cybersecurity Enhancement
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Network & OT Cybersecurity Engineer (10+ years of experience) to support a network architecture redesign and cybersecurity implementation for an industrial environment.
Scope of Work
1. Network Architecture
The current infrastructure consists of a flat network. We are looking to redesign the architecture into a structured and segmented network.
The proposed design should include:
• A hierarchical network architecture (Core / Distribution / Access layers) per site
• Segmentation between sites while allowing controlled sharing of selected networks
• Design and placement of industrial firewalls
• Secure interconnection between the five sites
• Migration plan for existing switches (reuse where possible and replace if required)
2. Cybersecurity Implementation
The environment already includes OT cybersecurity components, and we plan to enhance it with additional monitoring and analysis tools.
The scope includes:
• Integration and configuration of Guardian, Collector, and CMC
• Deployment and implementation of Nozomi Guardian Analyzer and Central Manager
• Secure architecture aligned with OT cybersecurity best practices
Expected Deliverables
1️- Site Assessment
• Assess the current infrastructure across all sites
• Verify switches locations, connectivity, and existing topology
2️- Network & Cybersecurity Design
• Proposed architecture design
• Network segmentation strategy
• Detailed network diagrams
3️- Migration Plan
• Strategy for migrating from the existing flat network to the new architecture
4- Bill of Quantity (BOQ)
• Complete BOQ for network and cybersecurity components
• Estimated budget for the proposed solution
