Network Engineer for Cisco & Fortinet Lifecycle & Deployment
Budget: $25 – $40 CAD
looking for a network engineer with onsite experience to do the following:
MUST BE BASED IN CANADA:
- British Columbia
- New Brunswick
- Winnipeg, Manitoba
Scope of work:
- Visit the lifecycle of existing Cisco Catalyst Series Switch and Cisco Aironet access points.
- The existing cisco stack will be unmounted and replaced by a newly provisioned stack.
- Existing cisco Ap(s) will be unmounted and replaced by Fortinet Access points [FortiAPs].
- Work alongside other network engineers and possess the ability to communicate clearly, follow directions, and provide live updates.
Site visit[s] will aim at achieving the following:
- Site survey.
- Physical port mapping,
- Rack and Port clean up,
- Network device replacement.
- Installation of new cisco switches, stacking, and connections [console, management, and data]
- Port migration.
- Access point replacement.
- Decommissioning retired network devices from network rack.
