Network Engineer -- Freelancer – Onsite (1-Day Assignment)

Job ID: 40221526

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I need an experienced network engineer to spend one full day at a data-center site acting as my hands-on field presence while my remote team drives the configuration. Your focus will be purely physical: racking and mounting Cisco, HP, and Dell switches, servers, and firewalls; dressing both power and copper/fiber runs neatly; then powering everything up so we can reach it remotely via the console or management ports.

Once devices are live, you’ll run quick-hit checks—basic pings, uplink and printer connectivity, plus a test print from each printer—to be sure the new gear and the existing workstations all join the network without surprises. I will supply a clear, step-by-step build guide and remain online to answer questions in real time.

Deliverables:
• All specified hardware racked, mounted, cabled, and powered on
• Remote console/management access confirmed for every device
• Desktops/laptops proven on-net and printers verified by test page
• End-of-day summary report outlining work completed, status, and any issues discovered

If you are comfortable lifting equipment, following precise build sheets, and working efficiently alongside a remote engineering team, I look forward to collaborating with you on this straightforward one-day assignment.
