Mumbai Data Center Site Survey
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I have a new data-center build taking shape in Mumbai and need a hands-on network engineer to perform a comprehensive on-site survey before any hardware is ordered. The goal is to capture every physical and environmental detail that could affect switching, routing, cabling, power, and future scalability.
During your visit you will map rack locations, cable pathways, power feeds, cooling zones, grounding points, and any constraints the room layout may impose. I also need an assessment of access control points so that later security hardware can be planned without re-work.
Deliverables I expect:
• A detailed survey report (PDF) covering measurements, photos, and observations
• Scaled floor-plan and rack-elevation drawings (Visio or AutoCAD)
• Recommended cable routes and containment methods
• Preliminary Bill of Materials showing quantities of fibre, copper, trays, and PDUs
• Risk or conflict notes that could affect timeline or budget
Acceptance will be based on the completeness and clarity of those documents and their alignment with the actual site conditions.
Site access can be arranged any day this month with 48-hour notice. If you are Mumbai-based, familiar with data-center standards (TIA-942, ISO/IEC 11801) and can turn the report around within a week of the visit, I’d like to hear from you.
