LAN Speed Troubleshooting
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Our office LAN has become painfully slow and I need an experienced network engineer to track down the bottlenecks and put permanent fixes in place. You’ll start with a full diagnosis—packet captures, switch / router configuration reviews, cable checks, whatever you feel is appropriate—to identify why users are seeing sluggish transfer rates.
Once the root cause is confirmed, I expect you to implement or clearly recommend the corrective actions, verify the results with before-and-after speed tests, and summarize everything in a short report that I can archive for future reference. Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, iperf and cable testers will be helpful, and you should be comfortable adjusting VLAN, QoS or duplex settings on typical small-to-mid-size enterprise hardware.
Deliverables:
• Diagnostic findings and screenshots/traces
• Applied configuration changes or a step-by-step fix plan
• Post-remediation speed test evidence proving normal LAN throughput
I’m ready to give you remote access or work alongside you on site—whatever gets the job done fastest.
