Kuala Lumpur Huawei Network Installation
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 SGD
Our new office in Kuala Lumpur goes live on 15 November 2025 and I need an experienced, Huawei-certified field engineer to turn a room full of boxed gear into a fully running, secure network. All hardware—USG6555E firewall, CloudEngine switches, AC6508 WLAN controller, AirEngine 5762C access points, pre-terminated copper and fiber—will already be on-site; your job is to install, configure, and prove it works while coordinating over video with my IT team in China.
Deliverables (all must be signed off before hand-over):
• Rack-and-stack of all Huawei gear, labeling, tidy structured cabling, patched to spec
• Core/edge switch configuration: management IPs, VLANs, trunks, STP/LACP, NTP, saved backups
• USG6555E firewall: interface zoning, baseline policies, remote management reach-back for the China team
• AC6508 controller: SSID creation, chosen auth method (to be confirmed in real time), AP discovery and adoption
• AirEngine 5762C mounting, orientation, channel/power plan, PoE budgeting
• Validation testing: link lights, 10 G uplinks, PoE load, Wi-Fi coverage smoke test with screenshots
To succeed you should have prior hands-on installs with Huawei Enterprise gear (HCIA/HCIP a plus), bring your own punch-down tools, crimper, labeler, and ladder, and be comfortable taking real-time direction from remote colleagues.
