Itential Workflows Expert Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for an experienced Itential Automation Platform developer to help build and complete a workflow for a CSR OS upgrade process as part of our automation initiative.
We already have:
A partial Itential workflow in Automation Studio.
JSON job variables set up.
Precheck command templates and device sync steps wired.
Requirements documentation and internal codebase references.
Tasks Overview:
Review an existing workflow built in Itential Automation Studio.
Add and integrate a custom Command Template to trigger a CLI-based upgrade on network devices.
Implement MongoDB logging on both success and failure paths.
Ensure accurate variable handling and propagation across all workflow nodes.
Finalize the flow logic to include:
Failure handling and retries (if applicable)
Conditional branching based on command/template outcomes
Proper logging and graceful workflow termination
Validate the complete workflow using sample test data (we will provide).

Final updated workflow JSON
A visual diagram of the complete flow
Requirements:
Proven experience working with Itential Automation Studio
Hands-on with Command Templates, JSON Forms, Job Variables
Must have implemented real-world workflows (not just POCs)
Comfortable interpreting workflow logic from documentation and screenshots
Ability to work independently and explain your solution clearly
