Role Summary / Job Purpose
Provide advanced on-site and remote IT infrastructure support, ensuring high system availability, leading deployments, and resolving complex technical issues to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Advanced desktop, laptop, and peripheral support
· Server maintenance, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement
· Storage (SAN/NAS) support and optimisation
· Network and Cisco router/switch configuration and troubleshooting
· Rack and stack deployments and cabling
· Incident escalation handling and root cause analysis
· Documentation, reporting, and asset management
· Mentoring junior engineers
Required Skills
· Technical: Server, network, storage, desktop troubleshooting
· Functional: Incident management, documentation, customer communication
Tools / Systems / Technical Knowledge
Windows OS, Server hardware (Dell/HP), Cisco routers & switches, SAN/NAS systems
Decision-Making Authority
Independent resolution of L2/L3 incidents and on-site technical decisions
Problem-Solving Complexity
Complex technical troubleshooting with minimal supervision
Stakeholder Management / Influence
Client-facing role involving end users, customers, and internal IT teams
Education & Certification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
Preferred: CompTIA, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMware
Experience Requirements
5+ years in IT Field Support with server, network, and storage exposure
