Huawei Multi-Area OSPF Setup
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
My lab already has a handful of Huawei routers and switches with a skeleton configuration in place; interfaces, hostnames, and basic reachability are done. I now need OSPF fully deployed across three areas (0, 1, 2), all devices aligned to Huawei best-practice, and the solution proven under fail-over.
You will have full administrator CLI access to every node. The job is to complete the missing bits, clean up any conflicting lines that remain from earlier tests, and make sure adjacency, LSDB, route exchange, and summarisation behave exactly as expected.
Deliverables
• Final running-config from every router and switch, clearly showing OSPF sections
• Command outputs that confirm neighbour relationships, SPF calculation, and routing tables for all three areas (before and after fail-over)
• A brief fail-over test: drop a selected link, capture convergence time, and prove traffic still flows end-to-end
• Short screen-recording or demo (2–3 min) walking through the verification so I can reuse it for internal documentation
Please keep the configuration modular and comment the key lines so I can reproduce the setup in a production build later. Let me know if you need the current configs or the topology diagram up front.
