I'm designing and deploying a high‑power, private, end‑to‑end 5G (or advanced RF) mobile network that operates under lawful spectrum authority — in Saudi Arabia, under CST, but the blueprint is universal.
It is not a jammer, not a directed‑energy weapon, not a toy. It is a carrier‑grade, standalone cellular system that delivers secure, high‑capacity data — and optionally voice — to a defined set of users across a campus, industrial site, remote area, or testbed.
The system spans the full vertical stack:
The intelligent brain: a cloud‑native 5G Core (with IMS for voice) that authenticates subscribers, creates sessions, applies QoS, and routes traffic to the internet or enterprise LAN.
The digital nerve system: a centralized and distributed unit (CU/DU) that performs all real‑time radio scheduling, encryption, and MIMO processing.
The RF muscle: a high‑power radio unit with GaN power amplifiers, digital pre‑distortion, filtering, and protection — converting digital IQ samples into clean, powerful RF.
The precision skeleton: a GNSS‑locked timing fabric (PTP/SyncE) that synchronises every bit and every beam to within nanoseconds.
The transport arteries: fibre fronthaul (eCPRI), midhaul (F1), and backhaul (N2/N3) linking RU to DU to CU to Core.
The antenna face: active antenna arrays or sector panels that shape and steer energy to users, with PIM‑rated connectors, grounding, and lightning protection.
