Coaxial Network Cable Installation
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I’m scheduling a coaxial-based network cabling job and need a technician who can handle the work as part of a team planning cable runs, pulling cable in and basic testing—within the next four weeks. The building is already completed; We are to pull, terminate, and label new coax & Cat6 cable that will serve as the backbone of our internal Cat6 or DAS network.
You’ll start with a quick walkthrough to confirm cable paths, lengths, and locations. From there, you'll work in a small team and install LMR cable, fit N-type connectors or RJ45s, Mount patch panels, and keep everything tidy and clearly labeled. Please bring the usual tools (fish tape, compression crimper, toner, standard hand tools) but tools will be provided, so that each run can be certified before sign-off.
Deliverables:
• All coaxial cable runs installed, dressed, and labeled
• Signal test report for every drop (dB levels and continuity)
• Simple post-install diagram marking outlet and termination points
• Work area left clean and free of debris
MEWP license and working from height certification useful.
