Windows Server 2025 Print-Server Role Configuration
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
A Windows Server 2025 VM must take on the Print Server role for five network printers in our small office. The core job is to install the role, create the queues, load the correct drivers, and make sure printing is reliable for every workstation.
We operate under the ISO 27001:2022 standard so this server has to collect and retain the right evidence, which includes:
• Tight, role-based access control policies on the print queues and the server itself.
• Comprehensive audit logging of every administrative change and every print job, retained in a tamper-evident format ready for external review.
We do not run any third-party print-management software.
Deliverables:
1. Fully configured Windows Server 2025 VM with Print Server role and five functional network printer queues.
2. Group Policy or local security settings that enforce the agreed access-control matrix.
3. Audit logging configured and a quick guide showing where the records live, their retention schedule, and how to export them for an ISO 27001 audit.
4. A short hand-off document (or screen-share walkthrough) so our IT generalist can support the setup day-to-day.
Experience with Windows print services and ISO 27001 controls is essential.
