Wifi/Internet engineer

Need to get wifi into an outbuilding (namely a static caravan) from the main house on the land which is approx 30-40m away. We already have an ethernet cable running underground which works great, but when we plug in a router or extender it works for a couple of days and then stops, presumably because one router is resetting it's codes or something like that?
