Urgent Linux Server Fix

My hosting provider swapped the motherboard on my production box and ever since the change the software stack will not come back up. I’m on a Linux Server and suspect the new hardware has altered the MAC address—or something network-related—because the machine no longer responds as expected and several critical services refuse connections. The site has already been offline for hours, so I need a fast, methodical diagnosis and fix.

You will have root SSH access the moment we agree to start. The immediate goal is to restore full connectivity and make sure every previously running service (web, database, background daemons) is healthy again. Please be comfortable digging through journalctl, dmesg, network-manager or ifconfig/ip route outputs, and editing any udev or NIC configuration that might be binding old MACs or interface names.

Deliverables
• Pinpoint the root cause of the failure
• Apply the necessary configuration or driver changes
• Verify that all public-facing services are reachable
• Provide a short summary of what was done so I can document it for the hoster
