Ubiquiti Network Troubleshooting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a 600Mb fiber connection into Location 1. It is managed with a Ubiquiti Dream Machine UDM Pro Enterprise. From there I have Gigabit ethernet running to the top of a 70 foot tower with a Nano Beam at the top. This points to another Nano Beam about 500 meters away on another tower at Location 2. We have a mesh WiFi configuration with UAP AC Pro's at Location 2.
Speed tests at Location 1 are as expected, but at Location 2 we only get about 1-5Mb download / upload speeds. I had a drone fly between the towers and confirmed that vegetation is not an issue.
I would like to hire a freelancer (with Ubiquiti experience) to troubleshoot the configuration of the Dream Machine, Nano Beams, and AC Pro's to validate whether any misconfigurations exist that could be creating the issues I am having. I can provide access to the UDM Pro and we can set up VPN onto the network for access to devices inside the perimeter.
