Testing a Distributed Intrusion Detection (Snort)

I have build a Distributed Intrusion Detection System using 5 machines Ubuntu (Snort)connected to Cisco switch SG300, and I want to send high traffic that has different size and number of packets (using packets generator tools ) and repeat the experiment at the several time then find the results:
