Telecom Network Integration (SIGTRAN/MAP Protocol Implementation) - Experienced Specialist
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Network Integration Specialist with expertise in SIGTRAN and MAP protocols to implement and validate a robust solution. The project involves complex tasks, including handling MAP messages (e.g., SRI4SM, Update Location), routing by multiple Global Titles (GTs), and ensuring seamless operation across both simulated and live network environments.
The ideal candidate should have deep experience in configuring the Mobicents JSS7 stack (without JBOSS) and be able to troubleshoot, document, and provide effective solutions within the telecom signaling domain.
Project Overview
You will be responsible for implementing the following key components within the Mobicents JSS7 stack without JBOSS:
1. Routing by Multiple Connections (GT): Implement routing logic using multiple Global Title (GT) connections.
2. Handling MAP Messages (SRI4SM, Update Location, MO_FSM): Manage and implement the required MAP messages.
3. Simultaneous Operations on Both Simulated and Live Networks: Develop and validate a solution that works seamlessly across both environments.
4. Logging, Monitoring, and Error Handling: Implement comprehensive logging and monitoring systems, along with robust error-handling mechanisms to ensure stability during operations.
5. Final Review and Client Demonstration: Conduct a final demonstration showcasing the fully integrated solution’s performance across all required tasks.
Key Deliverables
1. High-quality implementation of all tasks using the Mobicents JSS7 stack.
2. Comprehensive documentation covering setup, configuration, and deployment instructions.
3. Regular progress demonstrations using Loom video recordings, showcasing completed functionalities and explaining the working process after each task completion.
4. Final live demonstration of the fully integrated solution, including both simulated and live networks, with PCAP files and recordings for validation.
Timeline
• Total Duration: The project is expected to be completed within 4 weeks (20 working days).
o Task 1: Completion and demonstration within the first 6-7 working days.
o Task 2: Completion and demonstration by the end of 14-15 working days.
o Task 3: Completion and demonstration by day 20.
Network Components
The integration will involve various components, including:
• Mobicents JSS7 stack
• Signaling gateways
• HLR (Home Location Register)
• MAP (Mobile Application Part) elements
Protocol Expertise
You’ll need to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience with:
• SIGTRAN
• M3UA
• SCCP
• MAP (specifically SRI4SM, Update Location, MO_FSM)
Additional Notes
• Progressive Task Demonstrations: Each task must be confirmed and demonstrated progressively, rather than waiting until the end of the project.
• Loom Recordings: Recordings via Loom must clearly show the functionality, including MAP message handling, routing, and operations in both simulated and live environments.
• Regular Updates: Regular updates and communication are expected to ensure alignment on progress and to address any issues promptly.
Once you review and confirm these terms, we can proceed with formally awarding the project and beginning work immediately.
Looking forward to your confirmation.
Best regards,
Amin O.
