As a business operating in Brussels, I need to hire a skilled IT technician to handle a range of tasks and challenges. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware issues, setting up and configuring software, and network setup and maintenance. Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting hardware issues: This will involve diagnosing and resolving hardware issues on workstations, printers, routers, and other equipment.
- Setting up and configuring software: You will be responsible for installing and configuring software programs, ensuring they are working correctly and providing any necessary training to staff.
- Network setup and maintenance: This includes initial network setup and ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure our systems are secure and running efficiently.
Your communication skills are key, as you will be expected to provide progress updates and discuss any issues through email and online messaging/chat platforms.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Any additional experience with Salesforce or SAP would be an advantage.
