Engaged by StarNet WiFi as a contracted network technician (team of 2) to design and deploy a 3-storey Starlink-powered WiFi network for commercial data bundle resale to guests.
Mounted and aligned the Starlink dish on the rooftop, routing and terminating cabling from the dish down to the equipment rack.
Configured a Ruijie RG-EG406XS-P multi-WAN gateway (RouterOS) as the core router, integrating Starlink alongside existing ISP connections for load balancing and failover.
Installed a Ruijie SFP+ module and managed switch to provide uplink connectivity between the gateway and access layer.
Deployed and configured 9 Ruijie RG-EW300 PRO wireless access points across three floors for full-building coverage, using the Reyee Cloud app for centralised provisioning and self-organising network (SON) management.
Ran and dressed structured Cat5e/6 cabling through trunking and ceiling voids, labelling drops per floor for maintainability.
Set up StarNet's voucher-based paid WiFi system with tiered hourly, daily, and data-volume bundles for guest monetisation.
Tested end-to-end connectivity, AP coverage, and WAN failover between Starlink and terrestrial ISP links before handover to the client.
