Server 2012 R2 GPO Setup
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m running a Windows Server 2012 R2 domain and need a clean set of Group Policy Objects created and linked. The scope is small—just two to three policies—but I want them implemented properly, tested, and documented so they can be re-used on future servers.
The policies I need are:
1. A corporate wallpaper that applies to all domain users and can’t be changed locally.
2. A screen saver that kicks in automatically after an agreed idle period and locks the session.
3. A file-change permission rule: only the “IT team” security group should be able to modify or delete files in the specified shared folders; all other users get read-only (or whatever minimal access you recommend).
I’ll provide the final image files, the path for the screen saver, and the exact folder locations when we start. You’ll create the GPOs, link them at the correct OU level, run a quick test on a sample workstation, and send me a short hand-off document that shows:
• The GPO names and settings you used
• The security filtering and delegation applied
• A quick rollback or removal note in case we ever need to disable them
