Opnsense or Pfsense install on Proxmox perhaps including Ceph skills
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have several issues to address on Proxmox cluster, perhaps including Ceph. I have a backup device we can backup machines to and implement Ceph on cluster, if possible. Have new Google fiber circuit to bring online with 5 statics. Have to accomplish routing with VLANs or 2 VM routers. Opn and Pf are very similar, can go either way. I would rather Opnsense but would work with Pfsense. If we go Pfsense, I would like to implement pfBlockerNG as well. I would like to discuss the direction of the process so that I can lay the foundation to plan and make your time as efficient as possible. ;)
If we can accomplish one router, I may just put on bare metal and create another hardware replacement as to not have too many layers and segment failures. Can also look into a cloud based backup firewall vm(?) I have a working connection at the site we can operate on. The fiber is a secondary and we will be on other hardware so there should be no problem in bringing both online separately.
